Do any of you who start these threads talk to anyone on the front lines? I swear. Family friends (working in the hospitals with the patients) telling us not to go out unless absolutely necessary is all I need to here. These are people who voted for Trump telling me this!

What if we are and they're telling us hospitals are empty? Is that valid or not?

.0005% of the US population is only about 1650 people - we’ve lapped that number a few times already.

The bigger problem is that you people keep watching the news. They’re all liars. All proven liars and everyone continues to watch them.

I watch my local newscast for about 5 minutes and then the weather. Then I have no desire to watch anything else these witch hunters “report.” Because in the end, their “opinion” is Bible. And I don’t know who put them in charge for their opinion to be truth and spread hysteria.

They are counting falling off ladders as death from the Rona, so a couple thousand is probably accurate

Is Ochsner main campus BFE? Yesterday they had two ICU beds empty, and no one to put in them. This is before taking prudent steps to free up more ICU beds. An ICU doc told me that they had plenty of equipment and supplies, and that work felt normal to her - not frantic at all. And this is in NOLA, which is a hotspot.

This is not true, either. Our ICU capacity, and hospital capacity has been much expanded. Had we not done that, and not socially isolated, do you really think the scene in New York would go unnoticed?

1.5% fatality rate doesn’t factor-in that up to half the people have little to no symptoms.

The real rate is probably .0005%

If you're going to spread misinformation, at least accurate misinformation.

The current world wide death rate is roughly 5.5%. Current Death rate in the U.S.s is 2.86%.

So go give it to an elderly relative just to show us how it’s a nothing burger.

BTW, you seem to be deflecting from the fact that you called a guy a moron who showed how YOUR math was moronic.
