I asked a patient with amputated legs to move their feet after a car wreck (obviously passenger and not driver). She had a couple blankets on her from b/c of the rain. She said “are you fricking kidding me, I don’t have any feet” it was a bs wreck so I just wanted to see some legs moving under the blankets and get on to someone else.

Was talking about how all people who drive Nissan Armadas are 120 lb women who can't drive and my boss (man) chimed in that he has an Armada.

While in undergrad, I was pre-gaming with a good friend from high school whose (attractive) cousin was visiting him in Athens for the weekend.

Since he was my good friend and the pre-game was at his place, I arrived a couple hours before other people started showing up. As a result, I got some solid quality time in with the cousin before other guys could have a chance to run game. Things were going very well with her, and I was getting all the positive signs (arm touching, prolonged eye contact, etc.)

Well, since she didn't have any visible tattoos, At some point I decided to obnoxiously proclaim that tattoos were trashy. She gives me a dirty look and tells me that she has the Gaelic word for "sister" tattooed on her shoulderblade because she had a older sister and they had gotten matching tattoos as some sort of sisterhood pact.

Yeah...my Rodney Dangerfield moment.

Needless to say, she didn't speak to me much after that.

I was decked out in LSU gear, I was coaching a little league game and a boy asked me “why are you wearing so much blue?” I screamed, “what, are you blind son.” This is purple baby!!!
His dad said, “he’s actually color blind.” I said, “well damn, that’s the last time I ever ask that.”

The fact that you're the same age takes any sting out of it. Thought you were younger when you first posted. If some 20 something told me how amazing it is that I can go to school at my age I'd be thinking "Damn. I'm 40, not an invalid".

I guess it was coming from my point of view thinking it would be hard AF for me to do such a thing.

To be fair, a lot of LSU merchandise looks blue. If you aren’t familiar with LSU’s colors, it would be an easy mistake for non colorblind people.

Not mine but I was at a bar with a friend one time and he was talking about a band he likes called N****r F****t and then he turned around and our gay black friend was standing there stunned and confused.

Scruffy once corrected his attending physician about the proper way to make pot brownies.

In teenagers with immune deficiencies, telling them that they can’t do something like smoke weed at a concert is never the correct thing to do, especially in the ones with potentially fatal diseases. They tend to be rebellious and will go against your wishes.

The alternative is to tell them that they shouldn’t do anything, but if they do, don’t smoke marijuana because you can get a fungal pneumonia if you have no immune system.

Well, he brings it up and Scruffy isn’t really paying attention.

He then says that you can just put the plant in the brownie batter and bake it.

Well, in Scruffy’s infinite wisdom, he decides to talk at that moment and says, “No, that isn’t how you do it.”

Immediately just thought “frick, what the hell did I just say?”

Mind you, this was on rounds with other residents and the nursing staff. Family wasn’t present.

Had a nice good laugh.

I was onsite in Pennsylvania working with a customer a few years ago. They decided that I should drive the rental car to lunch.

I said something like "ok, but it's awful. Total ugly pos". At the end of the day I noticed one of the girls that went with us pulling out in the same vehicle

Saw this happen to a buddy of mine. Girl walks up to the counter, pretty; tank top, blonde, no bra, nips out. She asked for the boss, she wanted to speak with him. He goes and tells the boss that a girl was looking for him, and she was so fine he would s*** her dad’s d***. He goes up to the counter, and says hi honey! It was his daughter.
