I hear a good bit of sleet still but I'm getting some big ole flakes mixing in. Can't decide what direction it wants to go.

I just spent 30 minutes with a bucket of hot water and a rag thawing out every faucet I have outside. They were all dripping but it wasn't enough. Check yo shite before going to bed. It's cold out there.

It's snowing pretty good in BR now. There's a lot of sleet still because you can hear it in the trees but a lot of snow flakes in it. This next hour will probably be our best snow chance.

Agreed. There's still a finger of precip digging down into the gulf too. We might get in on one last flurry after this too.

Grosse Tete is a good idea of what we're going to get. Heavier snow is coming across da spillway.

The pond that forms right at my front door is going to be fun in the morning when I walk the dog. I will certainly bust my arse...

A few pages back I posted a pic. It isn't snow coming across. It's just ice.

My face shield on my helmet froze in minutes

Mandeville should be getting some sleet. However, on radar, it looks like we are going to hit a large pocket of dry air soon. FWIW, Covington has had very little snow this evening. It has pretty much been nothing but sleet.

Looks like we might get a good bit of snow in an hour or two. Some nice storms moving in from the west.
