I’m glad we went heavy (for us) on a few pharm stocks early on in the pandemic. PFE, LLY, AZN and a few smaller outfits hoping to go to the moon. Looks like PFE is the big dog of thr bunch.

You posted a link that is 3 authors removed from those papers. Why not post the papers?
And yes I’m going attack to the author when it is from a website with a clear bias and that author is discussing a video by a comedian that is discussing a video by a doctor discussing papers.
I’m not on the “Ivermectin is shite and a horse dewormer” train. But I’m also not on the “ivermectin is a Covid miracle drug” train.
Are there anecdotal cases in addition to the “coincidence” that India saw massive drops in Covid cases once they start mass prescribing ivermectin? Damn right there are and the discussion amongst medical professionals, researchers, and chemist/pharmacological organic chemist, need to be encouraged.
But for as many papers that state ivermectin works, there are the same number stating that the delivery method and bio absorption properties are insufficient to effectively combat Covid.
My main gripe with your thread was you started it out saying ivermectin and paxlovid were essentially the same, when in actuality they are extremely different. Is their end goal the same? Yes. Is their site of attack in the protein synthesis process similar/the same? Yes. But how they achieve that goal and attack are very different to the point the at paxlovid has proven in controlled, clinical trials to work.

The links are in the article. Why not click on them? I posted it because the synopsis is also in the article yet you chose initially to ignore that and try to discredit it all by attacking the link.

Yep Pfizer just showed us $5 billion reasons to get researchers to say this and discredit the other papers. Ivermectin should have been put through proper clinical trials in relation to CV19 as well.

I’m in 100% agreement. I’m the article I linked earlier there are papers that show the dose required to use ivermectin is unobtainable through oral regimens and that this new Pfizer drug requires 1/1,000 of the dose.
