I don’t think end of the world prophecies apply in any way, shape, or form to the physical land of Israel or the Jews that live there.
Jews don’t believe Christ was the Messiah, that he died for their sins and rose again. So to me, none of those prophecies are applicable. Just my opinion though, why speculate and theorize on it anyways. It’ll happen when it happens.

This thread is clear and decisive evidence that humans are irrational talking monkeys.
Gods, ghosts, demons, prophecy…
Belief in these things is mental illness.
You forgot to add the climate change doomsday believers who put their faith in computer models.

I am not a Bible scholar by any means so just interested in some different viewpoints of where this current war stands in your theories.
The Bible doesn't exist to help you interpret current events, but rather how to treat your wife and kids, in additon to providing the meaning that it takes to get through life.

Laugh all you want, the decay is real, and there is no return from it.

This could be it honestly. I'm not sure how much longer he's going to allow morality to decline. We already can't decide to only have 2 genders. Not sure how much further it can go on

The Edomites were forcibly assimilated by the Hasmoneans. They're no longer distinguishable from Jews.

I’ll have a hearty chuckle at your lack of historical perspective.

I’m embarrassed as a human being that a thread like this exists in 2023.

You probably have something there. When Ishmael and his mom Hagar were banished, God promised he would be a ruler of a great nation as well. That turned out to be the Arabs. Adnan, Muhammad, etc..
God made a covenant with Isaac and his descendants, which turned out to be the 12 tribes of Israel.
These two factions are still at war today and have been for thousands of years.. I think this one seems a little different though.
It's hard to argue any of the things said in this thread, believers and nonbelievers alike.
It's hard to wrap your head around some of the things in the bible. I do however believe in a higher power whom I choose to call God.
As for Jesus's return as dreamed by John of Patmos, in the book of revelations, it's some pretty weird stuff.
Not saying I believe or don't believe, but I try to live humble and righteous.... Just in case

We would not have been in this predicament if Abram had simply not bedded the domestic help as a flawed method of causing the blessings that God had promised him rather than continuing to trust God. Sadly, this choice fathered that "wild donkey of a man." His impatience is understandable by human terms, but forcing God's plan is never a good choice.
But that brings up a bigger question regarding his faith. While it is clear that God rewards the faith of Abram, the man actually went to Hagar because both he and Sarai thought that Sarai could not have children which to my thinking indicates a lack of faith.
Therefore, the whole concept of what constitutes faith acceptable to God eludes me.
Any serious thoughts would be appreciated.

She laughed when the angels told her she would have a baby boy.
That's how Yitzhak (Isaac) got his name. It comes from the Hebrew for laugh.

I disagree.
How accurate have computer global warming models been so far? Is there consistency between models?
This blog has a series of posts analyzing the various models and their predictions.
A study in the journal Science Advances
Have computer models consistently overestimated the rate and magnitude of global warming?
The best answer and commentary to this question is in the latest book by Steven Koonin, a professor at NYU and an authority in climate computer modeling. In his book Unsettled, he argues that out of forty climate computer models, which use super computers, 3D data and run several weeks to produce one model, none is able to produce current climate picture when fed decade old actual data. Some were able to come close but only after artificial tweaks. Yet our knowledge system continuous to rely on those models, favoring the ones with most catastrophic projections. Needless to say, the catastrophizers are the darlings of government central planners who tell us that by rearranging our lives we can control the trajectory of the Earth climate changes, most of all, that we can avert the looming apocalypse.
But the most significant failure of the IPCC computer modeling exercise is that it tries, in vain, to tie rise climate warming to increases of greenhouse gases concentration, particularly CO2, with an implied corollary that such changes, i.e., warming up of the Earth climate, is bad, actually outright disastrous, for humans and even the life on Earth, contrary to the climate short and long term history.
Yet there is no evidence that hurricanes are becoming more severe or frequent, that the sea level rises are accelerating, and that the climate is becoming less friendly to humans. Since the birth of the global warming movement we continue to have hot summers and cold winters, the Maldivas and Florida coast didn’t sink, and you still cannot use Northwest Passage to sail ice free around Canada, i.e., all things we were told in late 1980’s would happen in early 2000’s. Our knowledge system keeps harping on some magical tipping point that remains on perpetual ten-year horizon “unless we do something about it.
