The overnight Euro was very aggressive with rainfall totals in LA.
That signal is starting to show up in the globals with the heaviest rainfall over S. Louisiana but WPC isn't really buying into the higher end totals, just yet.

We spilt time about 60/40 between SE of San Antonio about 40 miles and Rockport. And hell no we didn't stay, our front door is less than 100 yards from St Charles Bay which was ground zero, we had a measured gust here of 154 mph here. We just boarded up and are about to head north, thanks for the kind words.

thanks.
what makes it bit more unnerving is that yesterday (9/19) we got rain, but nothing significant.
meaning to hit these numbers it will have to get stupid in next few days.
good thing is as far down the bayou as i live, we drain very well and can handle more rain than most.

This is TEDDY - not Beta - passimg about 35 miles to the NE of the South Bermuda buoy.
Buoy was in the SW quadrant of Teddy and only got the fringe of the storm.
Seas still up to almost 30 feet and pressure dropped to 977 mb (13 millibar higher than the lowest pressure)
