Tropical Storm Beta is the most quintessential OT name for a storm. The only thing that would have been better would be Tropical Storm Cuck.

Tropical Storm Alpha went to Portugal

It’s probably pretty rare Europe sees a storm

Water went down on the Amite for one freakin’ day.

And now it’s right back up over the bulkhead...3rd time in a month.

Not sure we can handle 20” of rain and surge.

Just a model run.

While I'm seeing more support for higher totals in SELA, that's the only one so far spiking that much. We'll be keeping an eye on it.

I was thinking of that name because this one is Beta.

Spending too much time on the OT for sure.

good thing is as far down the bayou as i live, we drain very well and can handle more rain than most.

I just want to say that I am shocked that a baw named Nutriaitch lives way down in the bayou.

Well here's a bit of a wrinkle. Wouldn't call this WNW.

Signs of a disorganized system but the general mass is moving westward. Also, LLC may be consolidating near the deep convection. Recon will tell us in a few minutes.

That appears to be what's happening. This pass is taking them much more of a due west from the last fix.

Yeah, absolutely what's going on. Storm followed convection and this pass is almost due west of the last one. So back on schedule.

I took your post as 5+ days. My bad.

Not sure why you think I work for JBE. Do you work for Trump?

The center got pulled to the convective burst to the west. So it's tracking about to expectation again.

All I see is all that water being pushed up on the east side.

Eta: That’s a weird looking effect with what ever is happening over Florida.

More distance you can get to the center the better at least.
