There has to be some better way than FBMP correct?

Besides CarMax or other similar avenues.

Post it to a message board under the guise of asking how to sell a car privately.

Somewhere in North Baton Rouge late at night.

Seriously, park the vehicle at a shopping center on a weekend. Preferably near an intersection. Put your contact # on the window. Problem solved.

FBMP

It's definitely aggravating with all of the "is this still available " messages but I have sold several trucks, boats and equipment on there. Just got to weed out all of the idiots.

Sold a boat earlier this year in 18 hours for $3000 more than I paid for it 2 years ago.

Just sold a car last week. Had on FBMP and CarGurus. Had way more action on CarGurus, and ultimately sold through that site.

Flat rate. I think it was only 5 or 10 bucks, but I also paid the 20 or so to be a “featured” listing on certain searches. Don’t think it was based on price of the car.

I like CarGurus site as it gives you a comparison as to whether a deal is great, fair, etc. not that their valuations are always right, but a quick guide for whether a price is way off

Depends on the vehicle. If it’s something regular I don’t know. If it’s something like a real jeep, 4x4, hot rod, muscle car or the likes find forums that specialize in those types of vehicles and use their for sell forums.

There's a fella local to me. Call him, he'll make you an offer and pay cash on the spot. He's a dealer so he does all the paperwork as well. He'll flip 50-60 cars a year. You may have someone like that jn your area.
