There is an art show Saturday outside behind city club. Lots of local artists that usually have some pretty cool stuff

Can't recommend it enough. One of the best restaurants you could ever pick up from. The only issue is that their only seating is outside.

Cheeseburger is great
Stuffed hamburger steak is the best I've ever had
Both styles of their fried chicken
Cajun Philly
Ribeye wrap

Honestly, everything over there is very, very tasty. Always perfect.

I went a few months back and it was nice. It was a weekday so it wasn't crowded at all. I don't know how busy it is on the weekend. You can get close to the animals and you can feed/pet a giraffe. There is also a few other animals(deer, cow, goats) you can interact with.

A couple other options I like are Lake Martin (just walk around or rent canoes) and the Acadiana Park nature trail/station.

Do yourself a favor and drive just outside of Lafayette in Carencro and eat at Prejean's. Order the Alligator Grand Chenier. You can thank me later.

Best burger I've had in Broussard

Although I've never had their cheeseburger, Shade Tree is incredible so I can imagine it's good.

As far as Lafayette, I love a good Judice Inn burger every once and a while, but for my money the champ is Green Oaks lounge.
