Best way to get rid of crows near your house

I have a stash of bottle rockets on top of the fridge by the door. It's just there for running off crows and coyotes. Rarely have to use them anymore.

I believe this!
Once, about three years ago I was walking the dog and saw a recently dead crow. I picked him up by the feet and carried him home because my neighbor had been going on about you never see dead birds. Well, a whole murder of crows followed me a block and a half to my house. It was nerve wracking. By the time I got there I was trying to tell them that I hadn’t actually killed it.

We use a propane cannon to keep birds out of the crawfish pond. Eventually they get used to it and it doesn’t work though
Probably wouldn’t be a good idea in that fancy neighborhood but it’s all I’ve got

Have you considered hiring this lady?
She seems quite effective.

They've adopted you.
Their caws don't annoy me, but the murder in my neighborhood is smaller and not overly vocal. I guess you might have a lot in your neck of the woods.
Crows are some of the coolest and smartest animals on the planet. I hope you find symbiosis with them, OP
They can be rascals/mischievous at times.

This.
According to Grok:
quote:
Crows are known for their high intelligence, particularly in problem-solving, tool use, and social behavior. They can recognize human faces, hold grudges, and communicate complex information within their groups. Crows also demonstrate remarkable memory, such as recalling food cache locations, and have been observed using sticks or other objects as tools to extract food. Their adaptability to diverse environments and omnivorous diet further highlight their resourcefulness. Additionally, they’re known for their distinctive cawing calls and playful behaviors, like aerial acrobatics.

We have bobcats that like to hang out in our back yard and we have a small dog. There is always a crow that lets us know when they are there with a constant and repetitive warning. At first we thought it was annoying, but then we figured out what they were doing. Happy to have them.

Crows will flock together to attack an owl. May make it worse.

I tried this and the crows perched on them. Kind of like the barn swallow built their nest on top of the rubber snake.
