Use cedar shoe trees to pull some of the moisture out. Sounds like you need to buy a few more pairs of shoes and keep them in a rotation. Foot powder and Lotrimin AF should be applied liberally.

i have NEVER had bad smelling feet if i'm wearing socks.

EVER.

if and when i do wear shoes more than twice without socks or for an extended period of time and the shoes start to smell, i buy a 99 cent plastic gallon of vinegar & soak the shoes for an hour then wash them.

that completely kills any stink from the shoes and they won't stink again unless/until i go without socks a couple of times.

There are a couple of options. Get some Gold Bond foot spray or everyday get your socks and put some baby power in them and then put them on. This will help get your feet dry and keep your feet from sweating. You can also put baking soda in your shoes to eliminate the odor.

Don’t wear the same shoes back to back days. Wear cotton socks. Soak your feet in warm water with Epsom salts and a teaspoon of Clorox as well.

If not, toenail fungus will soon be your constant companion.

Socks. Cushioned sole, OD green. Try and keep your feet dry. When you're out humpin I want you to remember to change your socks wherever you stop. The Mekong will eat a grunt's feet right off his legs.

In addition to what others have said, there are thin, moisture wicking hiking socks that may help. There are some that look nicer than typical cotton socks and will help with moisture. Besides rotating shoes, get odor eating insoles and air them out nightly.

all these 'odor absorbing' techniques are bandaids.

just soak them in vinegar and let it kill the bacteria.

i swear kids today

Gold bond seems to be one of the most popular choices on here. I might have to try it.

Also, the vinegar suggestion sounds good since it would disinfect and kill of the bacteria.

Gold bond foot powder. The blue bottle with red top. Put in shoes every night.
Get new thin socks.
Get new shoes.
Don’t drink caffeine.
Pray for peace in your heart.

Problem was solved for me that way. Feet stunk for years and no longer do

Baking soda.

Seriously, that shite is great for odors!

Sprinkle some in your show or rub some on your feet before inserting in a sock. Also try buy some merino wool socks as they help reduce odor. Darn Tough Socks make excellent merino wool socks that do not itch and have a lifetime warranty. THey got dress up socks for you baw.

I had the same problem...I suggest three things:

1. spray your feet with spray antiperspirant each morning (works for sweaty palms too).

2 Next, dust your feet with foot powder.

3. If you still find that your feet sweat (which I doubt), find yourself some absorbent socks.

I guarantee that the antiperspirant will do the trick...it is made for stopping sweat and killing bacteria that cause odor.

After you shower...thoroughly dry your feet and then clean them with rubbing alcohol to kill any bacteria on them.

Clean the inside of your shoes with alcohol wipes and then use gold bond in them going forward.
