He might have been mentioned on here at some point, but I had a US History teacher in the late 90s, he was an awesome story teller, I struggled taking notes because I just wanted to listen to him talk about it. Anyone know who that might have been?

Mary Manhein - Anthropology elective

Alfonso Davila - OChem. He was very entertaining. And kind.

Must have been some extra curriculars going on for you . She did hook me up with a bunch of credits when I switched to CM.

Taking Denstel right now. He is probably one of the best teachers I’ve ever had in general. Wouldn’t surprise me if he posts on here lol.

A couple of years ago I took Harris Wong for ME 3333 over the summer. Was one of the best classes ever and made me contemplate switching to being an ME major (ultimately didn’t happen though). Never understood the hate for Wong.

Dr. Tom for MATH 1552 (Calc 2) was awesome. Fun fact, he’s the father of Saints guard Cameron Tom.

The dude who taught CE Fluid Mechanics (Clint Wilson) was pretty funny and made a normally boring subject pretty fun.

He’s not at LSU anymore, but Rickey Bartlett was prob my favorite professor of all time. He taught historical geology lab. I learned more in that class than any other class at LSU.

Last but least, frick Moorthy.

Oh, he was a nutcase for sure. But, he was still a good History teacher.

Richard fricking Warga for classical studies. Was like listening to story time every day in class. All the answers to the tests were online if you didn't feel like going

Man, Charles was a good arse teacher. He got a bad rep for being a hardass to students who would interrupt him, etc like you mentioned, but boy could he teach.

Lucked out and got Ledet for Math 1552. I heard Suresh Moorthy would laugh at failing people and is the biggest piece of shite in the entire engineering department and this was 7 years ago. I see things haven’t changed.
