I remember first day of class Dr Manhein came in with a gorilla suit on running around like a nut. She loved her work and was a good teacher.
Hers was the first class I had as a freshmen. Dressing up like a gorilla and throwing grass stalks around.
Next I had Dr. Roche for Geology. He would smash rocks with a hammer and throw the shards at the students "This is pyrite!"
I remember thinking "Wow, college is awesome."

Also I see Kerry Sauly hasn’t been mentioned
Was he the one that wore LSU jerseys and made everyone turn their hat backwards on exam days? I remember his class being fun and he had a lot of energy

Steven Duplechain - BLAW
I had to take one BLAW class and I ended up taking it in the summer with him. He was a good teacher but those exams were a bitch. But he was a great guy, I was barely on the wrong side of the B/C line and I visited him after the final exam and he changed my grade to a B right there no questions asked because he said he remembered me participating in class and appreciated it
I'll add Janice Holmes to the list. I switched my major my junior year to accounting and basically had to start fresh since I needed a bunch of business credits. I was kinda wondering if I was doing the right thing but she was my first accounting professor and she really gave everyone a solid foundation in the subject and just remember her being organized and thorough and had really fair exams and communicated well. I felt a lot better about making the switch after taking her class

Charles Roussel (Sp?) - This may be a polarizing answer, but I really enjoyed my Econ classes with him. He may have been an arse to some, but it was usually people interrupting his class and he'd tell them to leave, and wait for them to get up and go. Was fun to watch. He was very passionate about a subject that I wasn't super interested in, but really challenged me. It was often that I just didn't understand some of the principles...mainly because I just wasn't that good at Econ. But he always made himself available to me in his office to help explain stuff that I didn't get. He went the extra mile.
This right here. Tough subject for some, but he did a great job explaining it. He was very passionate about the subject and it showed in the way he taught it. For most, there is nothing fun about economics.
