Sauley - he made class fun and knew his stuff

Charles Roussel (Sp?) - This may be a polarizing answer, but I really enjoyed my Econ classes with him. He may have been an arse to some, but it was usually people interrupting his class and he'd tell them to leave, and wait for them to get up and go. Was fun to watch. He was very passionate about a subject that I wasn't super interested in, but really challenged me. It was often that I just didn't understand some of the principles...mainly because I just wasn't that good at Econ. But he always made himself available to me in his office to help explain stuff that I didn't get. He went the extra mile.

ditto to this. I found some of his antics pretty funny, but he could teach the hell out of class. had him during an intersession, and it was all around a fantastic experience

Thank you for the article. I learned a lot from him and will never forget him throwing chalkboard erasers at students that fell asleep in his class.

Aravena for EE. A class of 40 would shrink to 8 by the end of the semester. Weeded out the people that had no business in becomming Engineers.

Agreed. In class, dude comes off as a real dick. But if you speak to him one on one after class or in his office hours, he’s a really nice dude. Ran into him tears after taking his class and he still remembered my name. Impressive.

Wetzel for multiple ChE classes. At the time, he was generally hard as frick in his classes but over the years everyone realizes that he was a great teacher considering the material is arguably some of the hardest to learn in all of engineering

Sauly, Karam, and Roider are almost universally on these lists. Don’t know if I’ve ever seen anyone contradict them as answers.
