I would like to toss the Infiniti QX60 into the mix.

Very nice, good room, nice lines and won't cripple your pocketbook.

Yeah I really like the looks of the new Grand Cherokee and Cherokee. But I've had bad experiences with them in the past. Haven't heard much about how these new ones hold up. But they are good looking.

When Grand Cherokees are new they're great. What happens 4 years down the road I don't know; reviews seem to be mixed and resale value isn't top notch. I personally have an aversion to everything Mopar except CJ-5's, so that clouds my judgment.

Not kidding, I think I have had like 7 recall fixes, in addition to an oil pump that went out in the first few months. All of that said, I love the Grand Cherokee, though it really isn't all that great in the snow despite the 4x4.

I'm a fan of the new 4 runners:

But in comparison to what you had, I'd say a Toyota Highlander.

not much snow down here.... a buddy has had 2 overlands and has enjoyed them, but his dad leased that first one while he was going through his residency and he just bought this one. he hasn't had one for more than 3 years, so who knows.

that being said i had a 97 and couldn't pass up a deal on a 02 which just so happened to be apparently the worst years every built. had tranny and window motor issues with both. but, they seem to have changed the tranny to a much more reliable one. not sure about those other issues.... wife has taken a liking to the explorer and of course that XC90.

What's wrong with TJs and XJs? I've had both and rode them hard and put them up wet, only to sell them for right around what I paid for them.

My XJ spent more time in the shop than an old Range Rover. I do love all wranglers, though.

I think you mean xc90. The 60 is ugly and more like a wagon

wrong. The xc60 is a mid-size crossover. it looks nothing like a wagon. imo the xc60's exterior looks better than the newly redesigned xc90, although the xc90 trumps it in every other department. the new xc90 has been getting rave reviews.

Take a look at the 2016 LX570. I'm not too big on the new face lift. I will probably settle with a 2013-2015 Land Cruiser. Will look nice alongside my 100 and 80.

Guy wants "a little fancier" than a Murano and you suggest a $94,000 suv, before taxes.

Gotta love the OT
