West Bayou is “nicer” but East Bayou is the better location.

I’d still rather live in River Ranch so that I can get a little of that “walkability” that I loved about New Orleans.

I live off of East Bayou, and I can’t really ask for a better location in regards to being close to amenities. River Ranch is the only location that would sway me to move from East Bayou.

West Bayou is nice, just not as close as I’d prefer. I’d rather be on this side of the river.

I agree. I live off Verot near Rue Louis. If I don’t travel to New Orleans, I can go a month between tanking up my car.

None. Live in a surrounding city (Scott, Carencro, Youngsville) and come "into town" only when you need. Best of both worlds.

If I was single I’d probably probably rent an apartment near Taproom, or maybe buy one of those townhouses near City Club.

One of the streets running perpendicular to W. St. Mary. St. Landry, St. John, maybe Cherry. That way I could walk down to Olde Tyme Grocery, and I could do my post heart attack rehab at Our Lady of Lourdes Outpatient.

Any street in Austin Village. Yeah, Verot is still a wreck but as soon as it becomes the newest raceway in Lafayette, AV should be the best location in Lafayette. Near 90 and all of the restaurants, shopping & Lourdes hospital ... it's all good.
