You and McCaigBro are such sneaker snobs. I think AJ3s are hot. On the function front, I know a lot of the millennials are wearing Adidas Ultraboost/NMD -- these Under Armour Phantoms may look gross, but are selling like hotcakes and pretty awesome shoes.

Are you unemployed? Just wear boots like a man

Mostly just laughing at the people posting trail/hiking shoes and whatever the hell those white and brown leather nikes are when OP asked for something that works in the gym but stylish enough to be casual wear.

Altra look like clown shoes. I use them on the trail because the big toe box is forgiving on descents. But, they are goofy looking shoes for town and their quality is marginal. Zero drop isn't for everybody, either.
Salomon are built like tanks, but kill my feet.
In town and road running-- Brooks FTW for me.
Never tried Hoka.

Adidas: Ultra boost, more casual Iniki (I-5923) or Stan Smith.

95s always felt like bricks to me. Much prefer the feel of 97s and 98s, but the colorways of both kinda suck arse - a little too 90s for me.

These are the shoes that are popular with my son and his friends. They’re complete dogshit. They’re some of the most flimsy, cheap made tennis shoes I’ve ever seen. They look like Nike spent about .04 cents (counting child labor) to make them.
I’m not suprised my son and his teen age friends are too dumb to realize these are garbage shoes and a complete rip-off. They're at the age where the “in” brand is all that matters.
But you are a grown man who should know better. Especially since you’ve got a thread on page one trying to look smarter than everyone.
It's a running shoe. They're supposed to be flimsy to conform to your foot. Nike probably spent a ton of time and money engineering that material. I've had the same pair for like 3 years now and they still look brand new aside from a little wear on the sole. They're super lightweight and incredibly comfortable. I'm not even a big Nike fan. Usually their shoes are crap, but these are actually really well made. You have no idea what you're talking about.
