My bad. I thought yall were sharp enough to pick up what I was laying down.
He asked what were the best sneakers in regards to style. Most posts seemed to be brand centered so I gathered that the conversation was going to be about which sneaker brands are the best when it comes to style. I posted a bunch of Keen sneakers/hiking shoes(one could argue whether or not hiking shoes qualify as "sneakers") as well as a couple work shoes for reference. My implied proclamation was that I felt that Keens were the brand with the best sneaker style.
After this post I was told that I better be a "soccer dad wearing those shoes" or something to that effect. I took this to mean that soft-hand, lily, white-collars wear Keens. So I responded that I wear Keens as work boots. The comment, "theyve held up well compared to Redwings", was just me throwing more support towards Keens in reference to the above.
Does that clear it up?

That poster and the 12 that upvoted him are also obviously confused about the market demographics of the people that wear Keen hiking shoes/boots. Its fly-fisherman, nutnfancy types, outdoorsmen, survivalists, etc. Ironically, all these New Balance and pointy, sock-like Nikes and the like, that I see everyone posting, are the shoes I see 50-something year old soccer dads wearing. Ive seen maybe 4 people in my lifetime wearing Keens in Louisiana. More than likely they were from another State. My brother-in-law was 1 of the 4 and hes from Michigan.

I like the Adidas Ultra Boost but I'm a man and don't really care about trying to be stylish! I'm all about comfort and wear what I Was thinking to wear a day could care less what others think.
