I was in Austin this week for work. Did torchy tacos and some good sushi and a brewery.
Have to say, Austin does a good job hiding their homeless/beggar problem. I was in San Diego earlier this year and those homeless pretty much stay to themselves.
These Austin bums were very aggressive. Would walk inches from you for blocks giving you their sob story asking for money. I finally got over the empathy I feel for homeless and just had to tell them to back the F off of me.
