Not looking to spend a fortune for something he probably won’t wear very often

He’ll be laughed at until he graduates if he shows up to homecoming in a tux.

We didn’t even wear suits. Usually khakis and a jacket.

Our HS wore Tuxs to homeco.ing and prom.

My local HS wears a suit to HC and a tux to prom.

OP, many places that rent tux's also rent Suits

Dillard’s Macy’s or JCPenney.

Make sure it actually fits him.

Express?

If you are not looking to spend a fortune, your best bet is probably JC Penny's, but get him something nice (not expensive.. just something with style). And in HS, he should still be able to use it when it comes time to go on job interviews, etc.

Just hand him down the one you wore unless you gained a lot of weight since then

Get something from men's wearhouse or Dillards and get it tailored. You don't want him showing up looking like he's wearing a garbage bag

Go to Dillard’s and buy him a nice basic navy blazer and a good pair of khakis. Everyone should have a navy blazer as it works for most occasions and he will get use out of it.

White button down and a college rep tie, pair of loafers and he’s good to go.

I had someone give me the worst job searching advice I ever heard and they were dead serious. This person was asking me about looking for jobs, blah blah and says.. "remember this. when you go on job interviews, wear the appropriate attire. Tie, jacket.. But try to find someone who has older, worn out looking attire. If you look poor, they will think you are more determined to work"..

Maybe you just don't know the difference between a joke and advice.

There aren't any in the NO Metro area. Idk what happened to my old solid black suit, but I couldn't find it for a recent funeral. Figured I'd try and rent one, and then find my suit sometime later. No one rented suits, so I just ended up buying a new one
