Penny's is your best bet. I got a whole navy blue suit there a while back for a couple hundred and it was a decently made and good looking suit. It was a Stafford

I’m shocked at the OT baller responses...might as well take the young man to Walmart.

Mclavy
Carriages
Perlis

Show him how to really dress and buy clothes that’ll last. Start him young and he will be hooked.

Every dude needs, at a minimum, one sport coat. Get him a navy one, and then have it tailored by a professional tailor. You don't want him looking like he's wearing your jacket. That'll be good enough 75% of the time.

IIRC, we just wore a button down, tie, and khakis for HS homecoming. After applying about 17 sprays of Aqua de Gio, I was a stone cold pimp

That phase lasted until 8th grade for me....and then I realized that it was so strong, people the next town over could smell me coming out of the house

Bought my son a navy Dillards off the rack suit for a couple hundred bucks on sale senior year of high school. Paid about $100 bucks to have it tailored (at an Asian place not the store). Saw him through many weddings and funerals during the college years.

Yeah that’s weird. Homecoming isn’t a black tie event. It was suit or sports coat.

Most high school kids are still growing and only wear suits a handful of times a year. Doesn’t really make sense to spend $1,000 on a suit that will be worn 5 times before it doesn’t fit
