Yes I know - it used to be a lot harder to graduate from there than LSU - more requirements and proficiency exams

I attended LSU for a few years and struggled with the size of the university, transferred to Louisiana tech and it was a perfect fit for me. It’s cheap as shite and they do a lot more with their dollars to better student lives than LSU could ever dream of. I can’t recommend Louisiana tech highly enough.

I'd say UVA too.

Great history. Beautiful. Still some southern/traditional influence (even if waning). It's just a stately, classic school in a great college town.

A degree from Alcorn State can get you the same dollar pay as any of these if you make the right connections. A big portion of college is about making connections.
