My 'pocket hose' has worked fine for me for about a year. Great for washing the car and not have to lunk around a 15lbs hose to do it.
And I say 'pocket hose' because I'm not sure if it's that name brand that I have. They make several different versions by different companies and some are reviewed better than others.

FlexSeal type products have been around for a long time. Those guys just came up with a better way to market it.

I didn't like the pocket hose. Only had it about 6 months before it started to leak. Bought a normal one from home depot and still works perfectly after two years.

Makin Bacon microwave cooker. I was surprised by how well it works. Perfecty crisp & not greasy.

I've got a version of the pocket hose that I picked up from Wal-Mart that was a step up from the infomercial. Probably the same one you have. I love it.

I stand by the Pocket Hose.

POS
most homes have the front outdoor faucet excluded from the pressure reducer and it will blow the sprayer off that hose the first time you try to turn it 'off'.
also sucks for filling hot tubs or pool because the water is a fricking reduced high pressurize stream coming out of it and you'll sit for days waiting for it to fill.
on top of that it jumps around like a fricking wiggle worm so you cant leave it unattended without duct taping that POS to the ground.
final reason it sucks is you cant extend the hose to where you want to water until it fills up and it shrivels up after you're done.
in short, dont buy it.
My biggest problem I've had is that both I've owned ruptured. Good idea, poor quality.

yep, again if you hook this to your front faucet, more than likely that is between the water line and your home's pressure reducer valve so this POS hose will likely rupture the first time you turn it off at the hose end and leave the spigot open.
it happened to me inside of 5 minutes and it was back to walgreens.

The slap chop worked great. The original was poor quality, but there are good ones out nowadays.
I've been thinking about buying the combo slap chop/cheese grater at Costco. It looks legit and I with Costco's return policy, worth the gamble.
My pocket hose worked fine. Though I never put it through heavy use.

can you tell me anything i've said is false? i've actually used a couple of the POS hoses and you're far better off going to home depot and getting a medium/heavy duty hose for $5 more...unless you only use it once a year for washing your car.
