I get that. I have gotten close myself. I think it would be safe to say most "honest" golfers don't break 80. I play with guys who regularly break that mark, but not I....and I love the frickin game.

76 with a quad on the 4th hole. Happened at Hilaman Park in Tallahassee in a tournament. I ended up being 2nd place medalist and our team won 1st place.

Best 9 was 35 on the back nine at Summerbrook in Tallahassee. Unfortunately the front 9 was a 45.

83 at The Island my first and only time around that dump, playing it down of course


Best 9 is 39 at TPC (after a 60 on the front )

76 at Waterchase GC in Fort Worth(Jim McClean Center). hidden gem, and very tough. I had carded 82 either 5 or 6 times in the months leading up to breaking the ceiling. the 17th hole is a long drive over water that typically has prevailing north winds in your face from October thru March. 3 or 4 times I teed up well within range of breaking 80 only to dunk a tee ball(or two).

It got to the point that I would be staring at that tee box from the 16th before I even hit my tee shot there

Been there plenty, frick 9

66 at Beau Pre CC in Natchez Ms and Canebrake in Hattiesburg Ms, long time ago, party too much to go that low anymore

Shot 32 - 38 on my home course (beau chene) I finished bogey bogey on front nine too.
