Not Austin. It's horrible here. Don't move here. Their are dead bodies in the streets and roaming gangs that kill for enjoyment.

Hammer meet nail. Houston has serious penis envy for DFW

Little slice of West Texas paradise. I do appreciate the odd-ball, quirkiness of Marfa, but it gets way too much hype compared to the little unknown San Angelo.

No worries, the Democrat lovefest and traffic are enough on their own.

I work in Houston and live in Sugar Land. Coming from BR, I love it here. Dallas people hate Houston and Houston people hate Dallas. Austin is a different kind of city than the other two. I personally like Houston better than Dallas. Too much road construction and their interstate system is a confusing mess.

I love these threads where the transplants and non residents act like they know shite about my state.

There are almost no minorities in the actual city of Austin and almost no crime.

The roadway system is terrible. It's not a "system" at all, which is the problem.

But living a life without poors and without crime... it's incredible. Austin is like the 1950s in the sense that you don't even have to lock your doors. You can't fully appreciate the difference unless you've lived it. I'll take the traffic for the complete absence of diversity... it's well worth it.

Is this a joke or are you batshit crazy?

Where do the good hookers hang out?

Like there's such thing as bad ones.

The classy street walkers hang out around Beltway 8/Westheimer & Richmond area on the west side.

The nasty ones tend to be around 90/610 area.

Angelo and Abilene are two little cities that are amazing and nobody is flocking to. Green, plenty of amenities and low cost of living.

San Angelo has blown up since I left 10 years ago. I'd retire there in a heartbeat.

That's not what you said originally. You realized how retarded you sounded and are trying to make it more reasonable. Smart aggy.

yes it is.

Houston... not really a fan. Reminds me of if you took the worst aspects of LA, NOLA and Atlanta and then sucked all the fun out of them.

horrid traffic, extremely hot and humid, sprawl to the Nth degree, and lots of crime issues.

Nowhere did I say the crime is exactly the same.

All I said was Houston has negatives that resemble the the worst aspects of LA, Atlanta, and NOLA and one of those is issues with a high crime rate. This is 100% true.

Once again, Houston has a higher murder rate than LA, a higher violent crime rate than NOLA, and a higher rate of reported rape than Atlanta. I'm sorry this makes you mad but the facts say that Houston has problems with crime that rival those three cities.

Also, by the logic you are using right now you should also think that I was saying the weather in LA is the same as Houston.
