I've said it before, and I'll say it again...Thanksgiving food is overrated. That being said
Best: fried Turkey
Worst: various piles of mush everyone pretends is the greatest shite ever once a year

I mean, you're not entirely wrong.
Casseroles generally suck, and there is always a shite ton of casseroles at Thanksgiving.

exactly...few people actually like them but it's thanksgiving so we have to have 6 of them. Then someone is left frantically filling up 9 gallon zip lock bags to try and unload that shite...just stop

B/c a 20 lb turkey costs $35-$40 and takes a really long arse time to cook.

Yeah, I’m surprised to see so many in here hating thanksgiving food. Believe me, we WOULD have it more than once a year if I had anyone besides myself and my SO to feed on a regular basis.
I get cornbread dressing, sweet potatoes, and a pint of gravy from Zeeland Street Market for lunch every other month probably.
