LAX forcing you to collect bags for international inbound flights, go outside, schlep them 100 yards, and check them back in for the domestic connection on the same carrier is bush league.

DFW is better for connecting flights than IAH.

Best right now is SLC now that the central tunnel is complete and most of the B gates are open. Incredibly nice and the best bathrooms of any airport.

My favorite international one is Singapore.

Why? Flying to there on Saturday. Do it once or twice a year, and I have never had a problem.
You've been very fortunate. The most unorganized security area I have been through. They find a way to slow a line like no other.

Haven't been to Tampa, but heard good things. Did not like Northern Kentucky and JFK. IAH has a funky smell to it
Tampa is great.

IAH. Also the Eco park shuttles for some f’ing reason have to drop each person off at their actual car.

The Parking Spot at IAH, HOU, AUS all take you to your vehicle too. What's the problem with that?

Ya, that is a strange thing to get mad about. Tell you what - in August have Ecopark drop you at the front gate and walk the 500 yards to your car over the asphalt and tell me you wish they didn't drop you at your car.

Heathrow is better than it used to be. It's a busy place at all hours. I haven't been to Gatwick in 25 years but it was OK back then....nothing special.

I flew into Moscow about 4X about 15 -16 years ago for work. Reminded me of JFK

Devil's advocate. Most airports are fine and issues seem to almost always be related to construction more than anything. Well, that, or Frontier gate agents.

Tampa International is my favorite at this point.

Atlanta is my worst.

My least favorite is still IAH.

Nothing about it makes logical sense. Location. The terminals. It's weird.

My favorite is John Wayne, but that's cheating - it's small and quick/efficient. I'm in and out.

Major international, etc is still Boston. Easy to navigate and sort through. Chase sapphire lounge also makes it less and less miserable.

DFW
Ever try to pick someone up there. And a flight thru there is a guarantee weather delay.

Best: Gulfport, MS (GPT). Changi (Singapore)
Worst: probably one of the old airports (Logan or Hobby or LaGuardia)

Disclaimer: I don't fly much anymore so it sounds like airports have changed quite a bit since I last set foot in them.

Question: I used to fly out of McCoy (Orlando) regularly (even back when it only had two terminals) so all pre-TSA. It was great. Very easy to get from your car to your gate. Now see a lot of negative comments. Just wondering what happened.

PS: Any airport with TSA is poorly run. But you do get the privilege of flying with Muslims so there's that.

Currently - yes

I go in and out of there about twice a month and think Terminal A is solid. Also some of the best priced burgers and beer for an airport.

Houston is a piece of shite. I can't remember ever going through there without a delay of some sort. Especially at those rinky dink gates where you usually have to walk outside before getting to the airplane.

I fly at least 2 times a month for the past 25 years, almost all domestically.

worst: as mentioned here, LAX, Ohare and Newark...not mentioned enough Dulles
best: Tampa , short list because most really suck

Erbody talks shite but Atlanta is fantastic. Atlanta is super easy to get in and out of. You can fly pretty much anywhere in the world non-stop. It is laid out in an orderly manner. Some (big) airports are like a maze. DFW is fricking retarded.

I find that most people talking shite about airports are novice travelers and don't like big airports. I can count on one hand the airports I don't like. Frankfurt is a PITA and the rental cars are a mile walk. MSP has some really spread out terminals and the monorail doesn't go all the way to them, makes again for a hard walk/trot. Newark sucks at rush hour. The monorail is garbage and the bars can get overcrowded very fast.

Atlanta and O'hare are great. Lots of food, lots of flights, subways to downtown, what's not to like. "It's big" isn't a good criticism. They both have very adequate trams to move you around fast.

I think the new LGA terminal is excellent.
