KO2’s are about 10lbs heavier per tire than ridge grapplers from my research at least in the size I needed.

I'm on my 3rd set of duratracs. KO2s are the gold standard, and they should be b/c collective experience is collective wisdom. i've had ko's and they're great. they last forever. but i've just had personal experiences in mud off-roading with duratracs that i can't deny. it's likely all to do with driving habits and tendencies, but i have still spun out or lost traction more in my kos than i have with my duratracs.

just my $0.02

Really good looking tire.

The reviews are on their website are either 5 star or two/one star. It seems the most common issue with the people giving two or one stars is side wall cracking. They may have a few defective tires out there but they should be covered by the warranty.

I'm running GT Radial Adventuro AT3 on my 1500 Z71. Delivered to my door by Priority Tire.

Not sure why the downvote. Rated 4 stars out of 5 on Simple Tire. 50k treadlife warranty and has a great price.

I had 2 sets KO2 on my older F-150, and loved them. I'm not kidding, I got like 90,000 miles out of the first set and the next set still looked good when I sold it. I used to run by tire shop every now and again once I got over 60k miles, and they'd always examine and say "no you're good!"

On my new truck, I went with Toyo Open Country III's, I've got about 30k on them and so far seem great. We'll see how long they hold.

KO2's are very popular, as they are one of the lightest tires you can get.

35x12.5x17 KO2s are 7lbs lighter
315/70R17 are same weight
35x12.5x17 KO2s are 9lbs or 15lbs lighter depending on load rating you get for BFG

What size did you find 10lbs heavier for BFG?

Cooper Rugged Trek - these have more tread, better mileage warranty, and less expensive than Toyo RT. I just had a customer get right under 100k miles on a set.

Pleased with my Wrangler ATs. Had Falken Wildpeaks previously and the wet pavement traction was horrible. No issue with the Wranglers, and they are very quiet.

where do you live?

Ridge Grapplers absolutely suck in the rain/wet conditions. Do not recommend

I put Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my truck and they aren’t loud and ride smooth. They are LT E-rated tires as well, not the versions more similar to car tires. They are some of the best tires I’ve owned.

The only tires that really seem to hum are out of balance, poorly maintained larger tires or some mud terrains. I’ve never understood all the whining about noisy tires. You’d think people have old school Swampers or Buckshots.

I’ve had the nitto ridge grapplers and Toyo rt’s on different trucks. Both good tires but the toyos have lasted longer.

KO2s are great, but get a bit slick in the rain. Running Toyo AT3 now and love them
