Sophomore year, spring baseball, caught a foul ball in the taint, just where the cup didn't cover. I just rolled over an a ball and shook.

I broke my wrist when I was 20. That didn't hurt. I had Jack Daniels on my side. But the emergency room doc didn't have a great reputation so I went to an orthopedic who did and he confirmed that it was not a good job and wanted to reset it. He said I would lose movement and have problems later. I said ok. He said he would make an appointment at the hospital. I told him I wasn't going back in there. He said ok, we'll do it here. He gave me a shot of valium. I started thinking that this was kinda fun. Then he gave me a shot of demerol. I was watching, but I did not see him pull the needle out of my arm. I do, however, distinctly remember the sound of him re-breaking my wrist and the pain that accompanied it.

Heart attack - felted like someone prying your sternum apart with a crobar for about a hour. Friend said only the back of my head and heels were touching the bed. Doc didn't think it was a MI till the nurses (my friends) told him to go stand somewhere else - cause it was a MI.
