Son is in Rockport. His wife and kids are visiting relatives in Brownsville. Is Brownsville ok? Is Rockport a GTFO?

This is what you've been crying about this whole time?

You said this:
quote:

I look for this thing to take more of a northern jog than they are currently predicting.

Without expounding on it and giving no reasoning why. Predictably, you got downvoted for it.

When questioned, you threw out this vague shite in response:
quote:

No, looking at the forecasted wind patterns from each region and determining the timing of each which helps steers the path. I just think it will move further north up the Texas coast than the current prediction.

You gave minimal details and supporting evidence, and ignored the fact that the possibility you mentioned had been talked about and mentioned (in much greater detail) at different times during the thread, before and after your post.

The difference being, details, specific, and sound reason. Your post lacked all of that. It wasn't factually wrong, it was just very generic and not worthy of thumping one's chest over.

Compare your post to this.

Duke:
quote:

Looks clear to break down/slide east by Sunday as a trough digs into the middle of the country.

The window is gonna be open, but the storm has to be deep (read: strong) enough to feel the tug. Most of the stuff pushing into Mexico isnt because the ridge stays in place but because the model has it so weak it stays riding the shallow trades due West.

Now, please try to stop crying, you're only making yourself look foolish.

Welp, I thought we might be out of the woods a day or two ago, but that’s starting to change just a little bit each update.

Should’ve known better.

The posters that post vague, obvious, shite like that, then try and take a victory lap, are so predictable in the threads. No shite it's taking a northerly jog. Even Peej could see that.

I watched the animation loops earlier and I could just tell. This thing wants to move north badly.

Hey does anyone have any educated guesses on, if this hits Houston (or any part of TX) next week- which specific DAY(s) it’s likely to hit ? Thanks .

I agree with that… but not sure if it makes it that far east before landfall.

East side as it moves north or north west could give Louisiana a little rain This post was edited on 6/30/24 at 10:50 am Replyreplies0... up vote8down vote3 EditBookmarkReport Post Return To Board
