Latest from NHC shows that the recent Westward movement may spare some of Jamaica from the absolute worst hit (with a bit of luck).

Notice that they now show Beryl strengthening back to Hurricane status after passing over the Yucatan and back into the southern Gulf of Mexico.

There are areas in Northeast Mexico that are still recovering from a major flooding event last week. That would be rough.

I was surprised at the the preliminary reports that downplayed the potential for the storm to regroup once it passed the Yucatán. That seems to happen more than not.

That’s exactly what I imagine people that go to all inclusives in Jamaica look like.

First time I've seen all the models bump back up in strength after hitting Mexico. HWFI had been alone in that for a while...
