This outbreak will probably be one that is studied because they're going to be able to accurately survey these. There won't be much conflict between tornado vs hurricane wind damage in these areas.
Most of the downed trees in Lake Chuck were twisted counterclockwise at about 3-5 feet up. Large white oaks and pines. Red oaks mostly did fine
Tornados explains a LOT. Spoke with a friend in Atascocita this afternoon. Horizontal rain was the norm this morning

If it's a deep freeze and relatively full it will hold temp for a week or more. Had one stay good for ten days after Michael.

I think it went down in May. Supposedly there is a new site coming at the end of this month. Cloud-based.

Yeah, that’s the thing about hurricanes, brotha. It’s usually hot after. Enjoy.
Yeah I know that but I was really hoping a cat 1 wouldn’t mean multiple days no power

Anyone know if there are any major interstate closures? Supposed to drive from La. via I-10 to San Antonio tomorrow.
Posted on 7/8/24 at 7:45 pm to TigrrrDad
You should be ok I-10 through Houston tomorrow. You might have to exit off, then get back on at some points, maybe...? Expect some traffic, etc. ..but by tomorrow I would think you would be ok
This is right now
Few spots on I-10 showing blocked off
Here are some Twitter updates. But it's all green everywhere else. The only issues are through Houston.

Congrats, Bawstachio.
A storm happened within350 miles of your house and you didn't lose power.

Fyi it's starting to get pretty crazy out there, folks looking for food, gas and not much patience to be had with these long lines.
Canes on Westheimer and Voss had 4 separate lines that converge into one line, that was pretty stupid to see
