Legend definitely spent many hours this afternoon and evening tracking these tornadoes. Beryl might have only been a Cat 1, but she spawned a crazy number of tornadoes today.

All I got from CenterPoint was plan on days not hours…katy fry road.. I hear north fry has power?

Got my little generator out finally and keeping the fridges and freezer going.. pulled out my spare small one to run a fan and come lights.. it has been in the box for a few years.. I unpack it.. filled it with oil and gas.. ran cords and tested it.. I figured that was a sure indication that my power would restore after I put in the effort.. but no…

They never fixed their arcgis site so it’s basically just that you’ll know it’s fixed when the lights turn back on. Expect days. I don’t think any lineman got out until later in the afternoon.

Like I said, I prefer my storms with ground under them. You don't have to twist my arm to get me to look at radar.

One computer model has the Long narrow trailing Squall line breaking up some (but not completely ) as it moves Eastward across the Atchafalaya ; late after Mid Night for the BR LA area.

So maybe Tornado Watches might not be extended ; but still have to watch for 1 or 2 Nasty cells??

Thanks Bobby.

I don't wanna jinks it, but I have rain close and it is headed this way. I'm moving slowly and not making eye contact so as not to spook it.

I think the ones down South may be the more run-of-the-mill spin-up type that come and go if they happen, not like the legit mini supercell printer earlier. Wouldn't be surprised if a watch is issued after the day they've had.

Yeah, that’s the thing about hurricanes, brotha. It’s usually hot after.

Enjoy.

Welcome in, the waters fine. Get yourself a wristband and get checked in at the Mall of La Friday afternoon

Brother I haven’t had power, internet, or cell service since sunrise. It was a hell of a pounding.

And then the hurricane came through.
