Lost power 5 min ago, after worst stuff passes.

Rain pretty much done in heights.

Just drove around, not much damage, a few branches here and there.

What am I supposed to tell someone in Houston they cant use their eyes to figure out?

The interesting bit for me is when its over the water. Both the building of storm structure and trying to solve eventual track.

All cell service is out in kingwood. So unless they have a generator and wifi, they are offline.

Damn hardly none of the OT mets/weather gurus have been back in the thread since last night. Once ole Beryl decided to land they dipped out

To be fair, I tried to schedule this landfall for Sunday instead of Monday, but it just didn't cooperate.

Owlie is in Kingwood too, right? That could be why he hasn't posted.

White Oak Bayou @ Ella & TC Jester is almost at Harvey levels.

Insane. Shady Acres is relatively fine....no major damage....just some small fences down and some limbs.

You think by the time it gets to Henderson/Nacogdoches area, the wind will be significantly lower? Not worried about the rain.

Eye is going to come right over my head. Zip code 75654
