I don't think that should be a qualification. Alexandria may be a bit harsh, but the slopes of Mongola may be appropriate for the family, after the perp gets blown apart by .50 cal AA weapons or a CIWS (too fast) might fit.

The Portland stabbing was a guy walked into a restaurant and stabbed two people. Police responded pretty quickly. The guy tried to stab the officer at which point the officer shot and killed him.
