FYI - the video and slip up is embedded here. I hate that cancel culture has reached this level. The segment of this country that says they believe in equality, empathy and love for all leaves NO ROOM for mistakes in this country. A mistake made with ZERO intent to hurt anyone or made from malcontent. A man's career and livelihood has been severely and negatively impacted over FEAR that's created from a culture that makes me sick. A culture that feeds and thrives on the threat of destroying people with nothing to gain from it other than the personal joy of being a terrorist.

Yes, some scrub at Barstool must be shamed, humiliated and terminated from their job for saying the n word while rapping the lyrics to a song. That’s just unacceptable.

I think it's BS that we are supposed to treat each other as the same, but every time you turn around you see people treated differently because of what's between their legs or their skin color. Words and actions are wrong, or they're not.

To those upset he apologized, WTF do you expect Mintzy to do here? His occupation is reliant upon how much traffic and sponsors he can drive in a field where there is extreme competition by younger, more attractive personalities. Even if he tried to get back in the local radio biz, there are cheaper fresh college grads that can be had. Dude is trying to save face for his livelihood, we'd all do the same in his situation, get off your self-righteous high horse, because you're just cancelling him for what he said, kinda like the people you claim to be nothing like.

I think this was one of the "tipping" points for Penn... and an example of what "could be coming"....when it comes to Mintzy....

back in Feb? he did a promotion at the Pels game wearing a Barstool Sportsbook hoodie? When the Pels/Saints are clearly associated with Caesars right?

Then he has had mutiple incidents since that trickle into this one.... it has been "i'll learn from it and i'll be better mentality".... but I believe Penn/Erika as well finally had to step in and take advantage of this minor frick up and just capitalize on it.....

Not saying that he's 100% completely done with the company as they have brought back others in the past..so will be interesting to see how Mintzy lands... if he still does content without the barstool brand I think he can land on his feet. I don't think what he did was wrong or bad due to just reading it....and having the pure Ron Burgundy mix up, but it's quite clear that he was toeing the line... like many do at barstool.
