Good luck.

Yep.

I'm due a knee replacement, keep putting it off with shots, but the shots are helping less and less.

Tore my body up when I was young like any red blooded American youth back in the day, and I'm paying for it now.

31 is damn near prime physical age for a man.

There is something about this time of year I think that makes us all a bit nostalgic.

Also 31.

Can honestly say I do not miss 21

Was a fat, drunk, poor college kid

Now I have a nice house, 2 kids, a career, and am in better shape

I do miss 27-29 before we had kids sometimes. Wish wife and I would have traveled more. Now its a hassle to arrange for someone to spend more than a night for a get away

There seems to be 2 types of nostalgia, one reminiscing of the past like that cliche playoff game, then one that is almost like de ja vu that strikes you by surprise, like the feeling of Christmas making you feel like a child. Does the latter go away as you age?

Turn 40 this week and feel pretty good 5’10 224 but played high school football a bit and starting to get “zingers “ in my chest with certain movements.

We are in the 4th quarter with about 10 minutes left in the game.

Yep. I am the reigning male in the family with 1 son to carry on. And as of now he has no children. We’re going to the end of the line.

It's always struck me as rather depressing that if you live long enough, everyone you've known that was older than you will be dead.

I vividly remember hearing my grandparents talking and mentioning that it seemed like all they were doing were going to funerals every other week. Kind of hits home more now. My .02 enjoy everyday and everyone you love because you are guaranteed nothing.
