True. I can’t imagine feeling traumatized by things experienced by ancestors I have never met. I barely feel anything over the trauma experienced by ancestors I have met.
I know of one that was drafted into the military and tortured in a POW camp. It was horrible, but I feel nothing. I love Vietnamese people and can’t imagine blaming them for anything white Americans experience today.
