Houston has better strip clubs than NOLA so Inwould go there.

I should have mentioned, evidently the groom pretty much assumes it will be the "standard" bachelor party.. Which is why I don't think the bride would "plant" someone into the party.. Then again, it could be exactly why she would plant someone into the party.

I'm more along this line of thinking. Strip clubs are fun and all, but at the end of the day you just spent hundreds of dollars to get felt up by a whore that won't frick you. Get your buddies together, go do something you normally wouldn't do on a Friday night and have a good time.

The good ones are out of the country and combine all of the above with the strippers/hookers/drugs/etc for a 4-5 day party that takes two weeks to recover from

Well, there's more to life than getting drunk in New Orleans.
I'd do the best of both worlds. Rent a lake house on Lake Conroe or somewhere in Galveston. Take a guided fishing trip one day while grilling some steaks that night, then hit up the Astros and bars the next.
Who honestly cares about going to a strip club and having to be in New Orleans.

When I get together with some of my buddies on a Friday night, it usually starts off going to a bar or somewhere everyone can grab something to eat and drink for awhile then off to the casino and depending on how much everyone has to drink.. It could lead to a trip to the strip club.
Other than hunting or fishing, what else would a group of buddies do?

In the last one I was apart of(a year ago), we rented a house in Hackberry and went inshore fishing

No SS... I see your little joke there.. Me standing.. That's pretty creative of you, but I have been in my fair share of weddings, have been a best man in two and it is something I am glad that I will not have to worry about doing again.
