I don't blame them. A business doesn't need to be affiliated with a long shot recall effort against a nasty, evil, soul-less power drunk mayor.

You know, I was a bit hesitant to actually put my name on something applying this line of reasoning. But, at the end of the day, I thought if there’s any hope to saving this place EVERYBODY with anything at stake is going to have to make a stand at some point.

I remember when we were clamoring for bars to be non-political. Bars used to be havens where you could escape the back and forth and all could saddle up and share in the ups and downs of the city no matter race, religion, etc...

Hopefully they get the word out better. A lot of motivated people going to sign; but they need a lot of signatures from unmotivated people.

She is so bad, that maybe, just maybe, it’s enough to unite a good bit of the city to take steps toward fixing things. I know that would take a long time, but to do it, it has to start somewhere.

How can you be unmotivated at this point? Not sure if there's a street in metro N.O. that hasn't dealt with the broken windows and car theft.

Access could be an issue for the elderly. I think they will start figuring out ways to make it easier for people to get their signature on a form.

Yep. And it was that way before the last election.

I think the petition is at least worth a shot. I do sort of wish it had been planned out better only because of the time limit. But it’s better than nothing and just talking about it. I hope it does somehow work, even though I realize it’s a long shot. frick that bitch.

Probably need to consider recalling the new sheriff while they are at it.
