Don't forget habanero's. That will kick up the mood.

a set of shiny gold hardware would really make it pop. just like in every other neutral house built in the last 2-3 years.

that in no way answered the question of if the furniture paint is the same as the wall paint

Let me very specifically answer your question. I was not trying to match the wall. I didn't give the color much thought, except we have a grey home. I grabbed a swatch, without much thought. My husband took a little longer and picked the color. It was never meant to match, only to blend.

I grew up in an old house in N. BTR, and the former owners had put beautiful dressers in the attic, so they would be flush with the bedroom wall. Painted them white. My mom took them out and re-finished them. They were beautiful.

What we salvaged was not a pretty piece of furniture, if it merely useful.

the flippers we bought our house from painted everything the same bland grey - even the gas fireplace logs.

im sure it looks great in your house, but me personally - i need color on the walls - and painting a piece of wood furniture just seems a crime. but to each their own - grats on the good find. i snag furniture pieces from thrift stores, clean them up and refinish them.

It just screamed "Tommy Bahama". I am a minimalist who puts basil/mushrooms in gumbo, and decorates with Legos

Those all grey home interiors are very trendy but I hate them.

Probably contributes to a higher depression and suicide rate.

Ah, you must be part of the girls' group. Enjoy your tea and pink on whatever day. I actually thought you were above them. Now you are just being bitchy.

People can be bitchy all on their own.

Please stop trying to make it seem like a huge gang is after poor little Liz. You have individually offended and trashed us all separately, so we can all separately dislike you. I know you think you’ll get more sympathy with your new “herd mentality” Shtick, but like everything else… it is getting very old.

Proceed with your attention seeking melt.
