They are dangerous just for the fact of how strong they are. Other dogs may get freaked out and attack as much as Pit Bulls, but most other dogs won't maim or kill you when getting freaked out or attacking.

Uhhh
You can't limit it to guns, you'd have to look at all violent actions, then at severity. And if you combine all of that, yeah there are places far more dangerous than the US, and cultures that are more prone to violence.
