I think the post office originally shipped something in 1792, not this past July

Last year I received 27 days of mail in 1 day at my office. Letters were postmarked almost a month prior to receiving.

I live in a rural area that is plagued with postal service problems. It's a lot of fun to check the parish facebook group because folks post about the mail service all the time and the mail ladies talk shite back to them.

My younger brother is a postman. In addition to putting out the mail, he's quite the Romeo on his route.

First class mail to the Great Lakes area is bad, particularly, MI, IL, OH, MN.
Have had a package stuck in Chicago for 6 weeks before finally arriving here.

Our street in St. George gets pretty solid service. It's rare that something that shows up as being received on the daily delivery update email doesn't show up.

If your package was routed through Kabul it might be delayed somewhat.

Nonsense aside I have noticed that USPS has a new commercial out on Fox News during the early AM and they are touting that they now work 7 days a week,LoL.

My mail used to arrive before 5PM,now it arrives at 7:45 PM.

My mom sent us a debit card left at her house on accident. It took 9 days to travel from north Alabama to south Alabama.

This is why I've been married a year and still have my maiden name. SS offices are closed so the only way to get this done is by mail. I don't have much confidence that my documents won't get lost in the mail.

Off topic but have always wondered why they charge you for a box in a building they own/rent but will drive to your home for free.

Always seems backwards to me.

Last I checked, a horse and buggy were faster.

You probably could have used a carrier pigeon and got there faster.

Seriously, some items are taking forever to process.

I had used Capital One bill pay to send a payment to one of my credit cards for payment, but the credit card company changed the address to send payments, I believe they were forwarding the mail to the new address, as last month it took a few days longer to process, but I also attributed it to Capital One changing bill pay in June and changing routing numbers andy payment processors in mid-June. They sent it on the 3rd, and it is still not posted. I did an online payment just to get it paid by the due date.
