I told em both "I'll do better, daddy." and yet neither met me at Coates Hall Bathroom.
Professors are dumb.

Tested back when I was in Army... 154, but honestly I have serious doubts as to the validity of those results based on the stupid decisions I tend to make.

Had a relative who was admitted to a program that required an IQ score of 125 or better.

He talked/bragged about it so much that his siblings nicknamed him OTFOB. One Twenty Five Or Better.

I took a 100 question online test and had a 132 test had a margin of error of 15 so between 117 and 147. I don’t think it’s 140+. I did try the Mensa test and failed by 3 points. So I’m not in the top 2% lol.

I think we can all agree. I am a special kind of dumb arse. So maybe 50 ? 60 ? What do you have to be to balance a check book ? Whatever that is, I’m between that and tying my shoes. That I can do with a certain aplomb. A panache, as it were.

If you want a credible IQ score you need to get it from a test that is accepted by Mensa at the minimum. IQ scores from online unsupervised IQ tests with automatic scoring are not credible, and none are accepted by high IQ societies.

This is the pecking order of IQ tests. The further down you need to go down the list, the less respected the IQ score will be for that test. The high-range testing is the highest ‘non-professional’ tier. You may have a score from a test in the third tier in your school records. If you were in a gifted program or in a IEP, you may even have a Wechsler IQ score in your school records (do be sure to get as detailed results as possible, for newer versions especially, index scores and individual subtest scores are paid more attention to than FSIQ). If you are in high school or recently graduated, you may be able to call your school to get copies of records for a fee (may need parental involvement if under 18).

Cattell - IQ - Mean 100 SD 24 (newer versions are SD 15)
Differential Ability Scales (DAS) - GCA - Mean 100 SD 16
Differential Ability Scales - Second Edition (DAS-II) - GCA - Mean 100 SD 15
