I didn't go but want to hear from those who did - how was it this year? Who were the best/worst performers?

I have no details other than wife and daughter went for all three days and thought it was great.

It's ran its course. The first year or two was ok, but now it's just not the same. The performers seem to be the same crew annually.

The problem is once it started in Baton Rouge, now you have all these other cities copying, the same acts went from Baton Rouge to Fla this weekend.

It's oversaturated now and word on street is this was the last one in Tiger Stadium

I'm not a religious man, but the festival this weekend was a borderline spiritual experience. To see that much musical talent in one place coupled with a crowd that truly loves and understands what music is. I was blown away.

There is an outstanding video of an inebriated broad getting thrown out and vigorously resisting arrest circulating on FB. Wish I could link it

Can you say who told you this?
I think it's ran its course too.
Same subpar acts every year.
Country pop people.

I saw this video and thought it was pretty good.

LINK

He dedicated it to the football team for helping out when South Carolina couldn't host the game between us at home..

This was the slowest bcs yet. Economy sure doesn't help. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the last one with the rumors going around and what I saw. This festival is extremely unorganized.

If they would branch out a little bit and not just stick with country it would give them more room to book performer that would generate more hype.

This is the biggest issue. In the first year or two, there was maybe one other event like this. So if you were a big country music fan, it was a trip to make.

In the last few years they've had something of this sort in Texas, Wisconsin, Florida, and North Carolina(?).

Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Rucker, Aldean, Bentley, Little Big town, Antebellum, Ballard are all repeat acts.

So 8/14 performers were repeats

Thanks. I knew there were more than just the ones I listed.

Eh. There are plenty of music festivals that have repeat acts.
