All of this is better in Mandeville/Madisonville/Covington, except for that pitiful MS beach.

Remind me again where Mandeville's beach is located?

Massachusetts has a Gulf Coast?

Alternative Answer:
Don’t bitch at the USPS for YOUR letters not getting delivered.

I’m nobody here. This place has a wealthy, high-society inner circle that I am absolutely on the outside of. No worries though, the gossip and drama is better left to folks who have something to gain from it.

Most of the money from Waveland to the Pass is money from Orleans and JP

I can take a short ride to the Rigolets area for that.

Rigolets is about as hit or miss/seasonal as it gets

you can keep your Louisiana limit and if you know what places to avoid you basically have the marsh to yourself. Two summers ago we limited out on redfish every fishable weekend from April to August and only saw 3 other boats in the area all summer. It's also an enjoyable ride when it's not rough as frick

I don't see any posts where anyone is claiming the above

The barrier islands (Cat/Ship/Horn) aren't bad though if you have a boat

Agreed. We try and plan a camping trip every spring to Cat Island if we can get decent weather/seas for a whole weekend. Fish the mornings, sit on the beach/drink beer in the afternoons, cook/fire at night. Hard to beat.

If you are having to use proximity of a place as a selling point, the place itself probably sucks.

Are they open again? Pretty sure they had closed for some clean up/repairs after one of the hurricanes from this past fall.
