Several friends have had it all were a few day to a week. Except for one. Doctor said he had a difficult time with it. He was down and out for 6 weeks. He could barely walk. And stairs? Not happening.

Wear the gosh damn jock strap cause if not gravity will be hurting then. I took mine off after two days and was so sore day 4. Doctor asked if I followed any of his recommendations and I said no. He told me to do everything he said for two days and if the still hurt to come in. Turns out they felt fine and I was out the jock strap about day 8

I think it was sit and rest/ice for 24 hours, no lifting of more than 40lbs (can't remember the weight specifically) for like a week, and then flush the system a certain number of times and submit a test in like a couple of months.

It's called Post Vasectomy Pain Syndrome. And it's real. For me it showed up after about 6 months and lasted for about a year. I would get off and then about 5 seconds later it felt like someone was squeezing my nuts with a pair of pliers.
The Doc told me it would go away after a while, and it did. But it put me out of the game for a while.
