I had residual pain for at least 6 months. Not constant soreness but the occasional tenderness

You sure you know the meaning of "breadwinner"? Because it is completely irrelevant to vasectomies.

I lucked and had my done while they were already in repairing a hernia. So no recovery necessary for me

Noticeably sore for 3-4 days, thought the pain was gone and went to work without the jock strap on (huge mistake - a lot of walking and stairs).

Wear the jockstrap for 2 full weeks even if you feel good.

You never know if you might find yourself in a Strom Thurmond state of mind where you are having kids in your early 70s.

Flexing that I’ve had all of the children that I want and don’t have to worry about having more? It’s really that simple, and it has nothing to do with being a man.

I think those criticizing guys like us that have had a vasectomy are jealous. It was the best thing I ever did, especially when I got divorced, I didn’t have to worry about trusting that the woman was really taking birth control, and there were women that loved the fact the pregnancy risk was zero. Guys that refuse to do it are just wimps.

Also, my doctor recommends a jockstrap for a week. Did you do that?

No. I wore compression shorts to keep my balls from flopping around and hurting more. Worked great.

I was sore for 3-4 days.

But the day of my vasectomy I went home and rested a few hours. But then popped a couple extra lortabs and went to the Bulldog that night for a bit. Was a great night.

This whole thread is hilarious. Vasectomies are such a great family planning move. We had our two kids; I got mine six months after kid two. I get sex without any fear of pregnancy with the wife.

Kids are new expensive as shite. Love my two I have got but I want to retire by 60. A third kid would have killed that dream.

Easiest 15 mins of my life. Should’ve done it 5 years earlier. I would say 4-5 days but not bad at all.
