I have one across the street, next-door and behind me......it's not as fun as it sounds.

Yes

No joke, best neighborhood drinking buddies were my neighbors on Calhoun in NOLA. Gay couple. Always drinking on porch. Id get home from work and they were there and would stop for a drink half the time. Those gay baws had some great stories.

No, because I don't live in a neighborhood. It's just me and my old dog on the porch. It is a good arrangement; I talk and he listens.

Does my wife count?

I try not to interact with my neighbors too much. I'm cordial enough to them, but not really interested in forming any close relationships with any of them.

I have two drinking buddies in my hood. My next door neighbor is like Wilson from Home Improvement, without the wisdom. We pass booze and vegetables over the fence to one another. My other buddy lives a block down from me and stops by a couple times a week for a beer.

I’ll drink some beers with my neighbor. We stood in his driveway Saturday and watched the kids play. Not a bad thing. Wish we could do it more often but we’re all running in different directions due to the kids.

One of my best friends lives 4 houses down from me. But I'll be moving this coming weekend. Won't know anyone in our new neighborhood but I currently work six days a week, so on that seventh day, I don't really want to be around anyone else except maybe my ole lady.

My drinking buddy got him a coonass girlfrand and left his wife. Not divorced yet.

Wife now comes to my house to drink and cry and bitch.

There is an old man down our street, and sometimes when I see him sitting on his on his porch alone, I'll bring him a beer. The man has had quite an adventurist life and I enjoy listening to his endless stories.
Drink up, life is short.

There is not a sadder sight than all the ‘men’ in the neighborhood drinking in a cul de sac garage every Friday and Sat night, telling the same stories they’ve told each other for the last several years over and over again. They might as well be dead as that is their sole form of entertainment.
