Sadvocate: Broome trying to get that Fed money for EV’sy’all

Quick question if it’s such a great fricking idea why not let the market pay for it instead of tax payers?

quote:

East Baton Rouge leaders are hopeful that the city-parish will be at the forefront of an electric vehicle revolution in Louisiana by attracting millions of federal dollars for charging stations.

Baton Rouge already has 64 charging station about 10 of those are SuperChargers by Traitor Hoes. Tell me why my tax money has to fund Ukrainian wars and EV chargers.

Will the feds promise to step in and take over the investigation of every murder that occurs at the charging stations?

May I suggest Florida and N Sherwood in the old Albertsons grocery store parking lot as a charging station place.

The meth heads need a place locally they can steal copper wire from.

“We have an electric charging station desert in North Baton Rudge…this funding gives us a chance to provide equitable solutions to our vulnerable populations…who drive Teslas…and receive SNAP benefits.”

Sharon is such a good little Democrat. Her city is collapsing (crime wise), but she completely ignores that and pursues something else that’s totally unnecessary. But it’s a big part of the democrats agenda so she’ll get a nice cushy position later on for towing the line.

She’s fricking disgusting. It’s as if she’s trying to be a more acceptable version of Teedy.

Screw that. You want an electric car then deal with the infrastructure. If it's such a great idea take a chance and build it yourself. Zero tax payer dollars for this non sense

The Mayor schemes for more federal money while they ignore the deterioration of the police department. She dreams of all those federal dollars while little old ladies pick up trash around town. She hires her consultants to help get those dollars and meanwhile BR gets more dirty and dangerous..

Went to l’auberge this past weekend, never saw a car at the charging stations in the garage

quote:

There were 462 electric vehicles registered in the parish at the end of 2021, representing 15% of the 3,065 electric vehicles registered in Louisiana at that time, according to the plan.
